Short and to the point. So much was conveyed, even habits diet hard. I liked the line "There was no shortage of love but also no shortage of bitching."
ReplyDeleteIt's the little things about ourselves and our partners that infuriate us, and also endear us to each other.
ReplyDeleteWhen something bigger comes along, the lttle things don't seem quite so important any more.
I found this to be a very emotional short story, and hitting much deeper than would appear at first look.
